Original Weight: 228 lbs.

Current Weight: 222.8 lbs. 

Goal Weight: 212 lbs. (Feb 22nd)


So I weighed in on Monday and I gained 1.9 lbs. from the previous weigh in. I was fairly confident this was just a bad weigh in. Guess What? It was!

Getting on the scale today I am down 3 lbs. from Mondays weigh in. This is a prime example of why we can't get discouraged (or too excited) on what the scale says. As long was we stick to the plan and take small consistent steps, we will get there. Think tiny habits.

I DID NOT LOSE 3 lbs. of JUST BODY FAT in 2 days.

I DID NOT GAIN 1.9 lbs. of JUST BODY FAT over the weekend.

The scale is just a tool to measure our progress. A home scale only tells us so much. It doesn't break things down into:

  • Body Fat
  • Muscle Mass
  • Water Weight.

There are scales that break down this information. The In-Body machine at Nutrishop New Hartford does this. It's a great way to hone in on where the weight comes from. It breaks down all that good information. 

I'm sticking to my plan and I know I will ultimately reach my goal before my Final 6 Week Weigh In.
