TERMS & CONDITIONS
By purchasing from The Balanced Chef, you agree to abide by and be subject to these terms and conditions and the other policies of The Balanced Chef, which are subject to change and may be changed without notice at the company's sole discretion.
Our food is prepared in a certified, sanitary, professional kitchen. We prepare your meals fresh and transport them to each location using temperature controlled methods to ensure your products stay within a safe temperature at all times. We guarantee that your meals will stay fresh by the best before date contained on all products if handled and stored properly under refrigeration. If any of our products do not remain fresh with proper handling during the guaranteed freshness period, please contact one of our customer service representatives and we will gladly replace your meal.
Orders may be placed online at www.BalancedChef.com. As our meals are prepared to from scratch each week, all orders are due by noon on Tuesday, the week prior to our Monday delivery (6 days prior). All orders must be paid in full at the time of checkout. Please check all order and pickup information carefully when placing your order and on your order confirmation. Notify customer service immediately if there is an error. We are not responsible for errors in orders or delivery due to your selections, information or delivery instructions (e.g., name misspellings, incorrect pickup location selection), or changes made to your profile after the weekly order deadline has passed.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND ORDER CHANGES
You may not cancel or change an order once placed. As our fresh meals are made-to-order and perishable, The Balanced Chef does not accept product returns. Except as otherwise described herein and as required by law, all refunds or partial refunds will be provided as promotional discounts that will appear as a credit in your Balanced Chef account online and will be automatically applied as a discount on your next purchase(s) in appreciation for your continued loyalty. These promotional credits shall expire if not used within two years after issuance.
EMAIL UPDATES AND PROMOTIONS
You will receive email updates, reminders, coupons and promotions. You can opt out at anytime by simply choosing the opt out button on the received email.
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive updates and order reminders via text message. We typically send one reminder message per week. Standard text messaging rates apply. Text "STOP" to opt-out. Text "HELP" for help.
